Welcome to the Social Citizens Resource Center

Throughout the development of Social Citizens, we have received, just as we hoped, invaluable feedback from readers like you. Among these voices, two groups have emerged and they’re looking for more help in finding and using the best social media tools available for social change. Millennials have told us they want to know which tools are easy to use, inexpensive, and specifically geared toward advancing the social change efforts they care about. And individuals, mostly in the non-profit sector, want to know where and how to get started.

To help everyone brush up on their social citizen savviness, we have created the following social media resource list. Think of this as an ongoing process of learning and discovery. And, in the spirit of collaboration, please feel free use the comment section on each page to add tools, information and resources that you have used and think may be of value to others.

Note: this content was compiled from a variety of sources. We want to give a particular shout-out of thanks to Lisa Colton, Founder & President of Darim Online, and Beth Kanter, author of Beth's Blog.
